Ama Dablam Base Camp (4,570 m), with Ama Dablam itself disappeared in heavy clouds.

What you're supposed to see on a cloudless day.

If you have time (and energy!) and feel adventurous you might consider pushing on to Advanced Base Camp (ABC, also known as Yak Camp) at 5,400 m.

The path from Base Camp (4600) to Advance Base Camp (5400) follows the smooth ridge line directly above BC and covers about 8K horizontally. It's an easy walk on relatively flat ground and it takes usually 2 hours and the view on the surrounding peaks (including Kangtega and Thamserku) is fantastic.*
