As more and more avid cyclists were joining our Meetup Paris Cycling Group (PCB), we decided it was time to get a proper group identity, and get ourselves a custom cycling kit. And it was left in my hands to not only design it, but also manage the whole ordering process.
The design and its orange colour is a nod towards retro classics such as Molteni Arcore, S.Pellegrino and Bic, while also drawing inspiration from more modern designs such as Chasseur de Cols, Rally, Strava and my local ACBB.
Additional benefit is its good visibility, inspired by one of our participant Deepak's orange jacket easily visible from a long distance away!
After quite a few iterations discussed over several Meetup events and WhatsApp chats we ended up with ordering the following designs:
